Stellarray Exhibits at AAPM

12 July 2019

Austin, TX

Stellarray, Inc. will exhibit its technology and systems at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Conference in San Antonio July 14-18. AAPM is a multi-disciplinary organization of 8,000 scientists with a broad range of interest in medical physics, particularly in the application of radiation in medical imaging and radiation therapy. Stellarray will show its technology for irradiation systems, including its digitally addressable research irradiator that promises to vastly improve the richness of datasets and speed up experimentation time in radiation studies of cells and other small samples. We will also show for the first time our technology for micro-focus x-ray sources using our “forward flux channel” anode design. These will increase the flux density available in sources with sub-mm focal spots. We will be in booth number 1045.

Stellarray develops and manufactures novel x-ray sources and irradiators according to ISO 13485 medical device standards in a fully equipped research and manufacturing facility in north Austin. The company is also developing digital “smart x-ray sources” for next generation computed tomography and micro/nano-focus x-ray sources for applications such as x-ray microscopy.
