Mark Eaton | President and CEO

Mark has extensive experience commercializing technology and building new organizations.  Mr. Eaton founded Stellar Micro Devices, which he built into a successful R & D company, and Stellarray.  Before SMD, he worked with several technology start-ups, primarily in business development and alliances, and served as Vice President for Strategy & Development at the Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC).  He was previously U.S. Vice Consul for Economic Affairs in Osaka, Japan and has served as an advisor to the Defense Manufacturing Board and Congressional Office of Technology Assessment.  He was educated at Johns Hopkins University (B.A.), the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (M.A.) and Harvard Business School (Program for Management Development).  He invented the original Stellarray radiation sources.

Gail Page | Director of Marketing and External Relations

Gail Page began her biotech industry career in clinical laboratory services and was part of the executive team at Roche and Laboratory Corporation of America.  Ms. Page then served as the  COO of Luminex, an Austin company in the clinical testing system business.  She then accepted the CEO role of publicly-traded Vermillion, a provider of ovarian cancer detection systems, where she performed a complex turn-around and raised over $100 Mn.
